Are these peptides legal in South Africa?+
Peptides sold by PeptideIQ SA are supplied for research and educational purposes only. They are not registered medicines with SAHPRA. Purchasing for legitimate research use is not prohibited, however you are responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable regulations in your jurisdiction.
What does "research use only" mean?+
Products sold as "research use only" are intended for laboratory, academic, and scientific investigation. We provide this designation to remain compliant with South African regulatory guidelines. All educational content on this site is for informational purposes only.
How do I store peptides after receiving them?+
Lyophilised (freeze-dried) peptides should be stored at 2–8°C in a refrigerator. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, use within 28–30 days. See our School of Peptide Guide 5 for full reconstitution and storage instructions.
What is the difference between Semaglutide, Tirzepatide and Retatrutide?+
All three are GLP-1 class peptides used in weight management research, but they differ in receptor selectivity. Semaglutide targets the GLP-1 receptor only. Tirzepatide is a dual agonist (GLP-1 + GIP), which research suggests produces greater metabolic effects. Retatrutide is a triple agonist (GLP-1 + GIP + glucagon) and is the most advanced compound in this class. See our School of Peptide Guide 2 for a full comparison.
What is the Wolverine Stack and why would I use it?+
The Wolverine Stack is a bundled combination of BPC-157 and TB-500. BPC-157 targets gastrointestinal, tendon and ligament repair while TB-500 promotes broader cellular regeneration and endurance recovery. Research suggests the combination may have synergistic effects on tissue repair. The bundle offers a saving compared to purchasing each vial separately.
Do you deliver nationally in South Africa?+
Yes. We deliver to all major centres in South Africa using cold-chain courier services to maintain peptide integrity during transit. Orders are typically dispatched within 1–2 business days. Estimated delivery is 2–4 business days for Gauteng, Western Cape and KZN; 3–5 business days for other regions.
Can I use the Diet Plan Lab without purchasing any peptides?+
Absolutely. The Diet Plan Lab and BMR Calculator are free tools available to any visitor. We provide them as part of our commitment to education and research support, regardless of whether you purchase from us. Enter your goal, preview Day 1, and enter your email to receive the full 7-day plan at no cost.
What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept EFT (bank transfer), credit and debit card payments via our secure checkout, and select instant EFT providers. All transactions are processed in South African Rand (ZAR). Payment details are provided at checkout. We do not store card information on our servers.
How do I know if I'm choosing the right peptide for my research?+
Start with our BMR Calculator to understand your baseline metrics, then use the peptide recommendation it provides as a starting point. Read the relevant School of Peptide guide for your compound of interest. If you have a specific research question, contact our support team and we will help you navigate the available literature.
