⚠️ Peptide Content Is For Education Only

All content on PeptideIQ SA relating to peptides — including compound explainer pages, articles, calculator outputs, and any other peptide-related information — is published for general educational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, dosing guidance, a prescription, or a recommendation to use any peptide or compound.

Purpose of Peptide Education Content

PeptideIQ SA publishes peptide-related educational content to help South African adults understand the terminology, regulatory context, and safety considerations associated with research compounds they may be encountering online or through other channels.

Our goal is to improve the quality of information available — not to encourage, recommend, or facilitate the use of any specific compound.

What Our Peptide Content Is

  • General background information about research compounds
  • Descriptions of why people research specific compounds (not claims of efficacy)
  • South African regulatory context (SAHPRA, Medicines Act)
  • Anti-doping information (WADA, SAIDS)
  • Safety red flags for online purchasing
  • Questions to ask qualified healthcare professionals

What Our Peptide Content Is Not

  • Medical advice, clinical guidance, or a treatment recommendation
  • Dosing instructions, protocol guidance, or injection guidance
  • A prescription or prescription-equivalent service
  • An endorsement or recommendation to use any peptide
  • Legal advice on regulatory compliance
  • A guarantee of safety, purity, or legality for any compound

Regulatory Context — South Africa

In South Africa, peptides may be classified as:

  • Scheduled medicines requiring a prescription and licensed supply under the Medicines and Related Substances Act (Act 101 of 1965)
  • Unregistered medicines subject to SAHPRA control
  • Research compounds with no current SAHPRA registration
  • Controlled substances subject to import/export restrictions

Classifications can change. PeptideIQ SA does not provide legal or regulatory advice. Always verify current status with SAHPRA at sahpra.org.za.

PeptideIQ SA Does Not

  • Sell injectable peptides, peptide vials, or regulated medicines to the public
  • Provide dosing instructions for any peptide compound
  • Provide injection guidance or protocols
  • Act as a prescribing authority, pharmacy, or dispensary
  • Supply scheduled substances outside of legal channels
  • Recommend specific peptides for specific health conditions

Anti-Doping

Many peptides are listed on the WADA Prohibited List and are prohibited in competitive sport. This includes, but is not limited to, Growth Hormone Releasing Hormones (GHRH), Growth Hormone Secretagogues (GHS), and Thymosin Beta-4. If you are a competitive athlete subject to anti-doping regulations, you must verify any compound against the current WADA Prohibited List at wada-ama.org before any use. PeptideIQ SA is not responsible for anti-doping outcomes.

Accuracy of Information

PeptideIQ SA makes reasonable efforts to ensure that educational content is accurate at the time of publication. However, regulatory classifications change, new research emerges, and information may become outdated. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any educational content.

Professional Advice

Any person researching peptides for personal use, clinical application, athletic performance, or any other purpose should consult a qualified healthcare professional — a physician, specialist, pharmacist, or registered healthcare practitioner with expertise in the relevant area — before making any decision.
